The following criteria are for general direction and reflect recent discussions of the B-CC Foundation Board of Directors. They are intended to serve as guidelines only. Each request is to be evaluated on its own merits and the Foundation’s abilities. |
| |
| |
Projects should enhance the visibility of Rotary International and/or the B-CC Rotary Club.
| |
All projects must be sponsored by a member in good standing of the B-CC Rotary Club.
| |
Projects should promote general welfare of the recipients.
| |
Projects should have a tangible and immediate effect that will be measurable.
| |
Smaller dollar projects are preferred to larger dollar projects.
| |
With national and especially with international projects, there should be a Rotary Club at the other end that will direct, administer, report and assure completion of the project.
| |
Projects that are catalytic with either financial or donations-in-kind multiplying effects are desirable.
| |
Projects should be apolitical.
| |
Projects financing capital campaigns, administrative costs or ongoing operating budgets are less desirable.
| |
Projects which pose potential liability, conflicts of interest or negative publicity (i.e., do not meet the Rotary Four-Way Test) are to be avoided.
